Audiology Program

UAMS Clinical Audiology offers a full complement of diagnostic and rehabilitation services for hearing and balance disorders. The Audiology Program is affiliated with the Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery Service at UAMS Medical Center. The state licensed, nationally certified audiologists provide state-of-the-art diagnostic assessments of hearing, balance and related conditions. They also select, fit and dispense hearing aids. Services include the following:

  • Balance Evaluation:
    Video Electronystagmography
    Computerized Posturography
    Sinusoidal Acceleration Studies
  • Facial Nerve Dysfunction:
    Electroneuronography
  • Hearing aid counseling and fitting:
    Electroacoustic evaluation
    Real ear probe microphone measurement
    Computerized fitting of programmable and digital hearing aids

Referrals or Appointments can be made by calling the Audiology Clinic Office at (501) 686-5940 or by contacting the Otolaryngology ENT clinic at (501) 686-5878. Referrals and appointments may also be made in writing to the Audiology Program.
